Who is gonna do what?
This is not the same Leafs you guys faced before........
Lmao. You made the statement. You do realize this is the Florida Panthers the Leafs facing right? We’ve been called the dirtiest team in the League for years, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I asked who is going to handle our guys and you start talking about injuries. What a joke.

Whoever comes out of this series will represent the East in the Cup Final.

I'm picking Toronto. The Core 4 have been showing up this postseason, and the team finally has good goaltending and defense. It's about time.

It's just nonsense. Nonsense narrative like many others when it comes to the Leafs.
It’s true. Until proven otherwise. Great point totals last round against a team in their first playoffs in 8 years, where they went to OT multiple times, though. We’ll see. Not talking shit, I never do, that’s just the truth.

If the Leafs get past us…good luck. We watched our boys lift the Cup. It’s incredible. Leafs nation would cause an earthquake with their cheering if it happens…just have a tough road ahead.

Hahahaha, no one is afraid of that little nothing.

None of them can handle our guys. Maurice also has Gadjovich to turn to.
Knies can handle anyone and won’t get pushed out of the series. Since no one is going to fight that doesn’t matter.
His line mates will likely get pushed out of the series and won’t want to compete by the third game, but he’ll be fine.
Matthews can barely skate and can’t shoot, if he plays, he’ll likely be freed from Barkov for a lot of the series.

Such a joke. Hagel took out Barkov and the Cats tuned their whole team up. These kind of posts are so dumb. They touch Bob I guarantee Leafs will be crying about what the response for decades.

Tampa for me was biggest defeption of 1st round and was far away of the team who r3ached 3 stanley final in a row, they was probably the softess team in playoff this post-season and honestly i never thinking he could had been the case but it was. They was not ready to pay the price at any moment

14th in hit
11th in blocking shot
15 th in giveaway
15th in takeaway

No responce at all when hagel got drilled by Ekblad or when girgensons get boarded...For me it was concerning and that's for me the turning point in that serie. They didn't look like as team but about individual playing alongside other player.

Florida played like a team, that's why this series had been pretty fast.

You’ll never understand the passion this fanbase has; win or lose. You guys will go back to being nobodies once this era ends. Meanwhile the Leafs and our diehard fans will keep going strong rain or shine

Oh this shit about the Panthers going back to nobodies, or not understanding the passion, is pathetic. And old. Find some new material.

I would like to see how the fanbase would be if the Leafs went through 2 playoff in 20 years. The Leafs/Habs would still draw crowds, but to think that it would not be nearly as bad as the Panthers, then your living in lala land. Nearly no NHL team would survive and be successful with the circus that was the Florida Panthers since their existence, aside from the last few seasons, and less than a handful of seasons prior to that.

My mother was 53 when we started going to the games at the old Miami Arena in 93. She is 87 now, and I was lucky enough to hear her tears at 6am here in Greece, after that Game 7 last year, to cry together with her. If you want to talk about passion, then the fans of the Panthers are who you look at. I spent thousands a year to see a losing squad from 99-2009. We had owners that had no intention on spending any money, and more importantly, winning. They could not have cared less. But the team still had fan support.

So you can take that passion shit elsewhere, because there are thousands of die hard Panthers fans in South Florida, and all over the world. Are there more Leafs fans, yeah probably, but so the F*** what? That doesnt make us any less relevant.

If the leafs stars show up then leafs should win. That’s a big if obviously, but just Florida doesn’t have the elite talent that Toronto does. Florida has the better depth, but Toronto’s revamped defence will help shut that down. Florida’s defence isn’t impressive. Goalies are a wash, slight edge to bobrovsky given his experience.

Still good with my prediction of leafs in 6, but I could see Florida taking it to 7. I should give some more respect to the defending champs.
Who are these stars that haven’t showed up? I’ve watched 99% of their playoff games and showing up and effort have never been a problem for the Leafs.

Cool story tbh glad your mom got to see it! The dream is to see one with my dad one day! lol passionate fans everywhere is what makes this stuff fun.

Cats fans that think this is the same team from two springs ago and that Florida is going to push them around again are in for a surprise. It's a lazy, uneducated take from people that haven't watched much of them this year. They play one of the heaviest games in the league.

The Leafs may not win - they are going up against a hell of a team - but they won't get bullied this time around.

I would like that for you too, but unfortunately, not at the cost of us losing.

If Tampa would have won, it would not have bothered me if the Leafs won, even though I hate your team, and arrogance of some of your fans.

In your opinion, was yesterday a good showcase for them playing one of the heaviest games in the league?

Doing anything in the playoffs without slaying past dragons just doesn't hit the same.
Who ever wins this series is beating Caps/Canes.
This really is the eastern final lol

no, gm 1 and 2 were a better example of a heavy game, but we were heavier than the Sens, they took stupid penalties and we made them pay.
So if our PP can make the Cats pay, it should keep you guys in check

Same thing that has been regurgitated so many times already in this thread. Not the same team, its a Berube team, blah blah blah.

The team is well aware of who the Leafs are, and they Do.Not.Care. Nothing phases that team, and the Leafs being a Berube team now wont change that. If Toronto keeps it a low scoring "Berube" game, then that is how the Panthers want it played, because that is their game.

Completely get it lol your team drives me nuts when we play against each other...but there is absolutely some jealousy in that I think anyone would love cheering for a team that is that hard to play against. Leafs are definitely the underdogs going in but I think if you want to prove you have legit cup aspirations the Panthers are a pretty fitting mountain to have to climb.

There are literally tens of millions of die hard Leafs fans. Do you know the history of this organization? Leafs fans are so starved they’ll even cheer for this group of players which play and act the polar opposite of what they prefer from their team.
