Well, they are playing in Toronto tonight

the latte machine was broke fans had to go to their seatsHah. Good one. Seriously though the place was rocking in game 2 they couldn't even hear the whistle several times in the game. Leaf fans need to show up like that again.
GLG
It's plenty loud in the playoffs, but there is no question it doesn't reach Montreal level. I've always felt it's because there is an element of "Euro sports fan obsession" (in a good way) in Montreal that doesn't exist in any Canadian or US city.wow
TSN just said TO's building is not a rocking building ....lol
For someone always whining about TSN and SN being Toronto homers, you sure watch them a lot.wow

Yes, if you’re Canadian and a hockey fan, those are the 2 options. For someone always whining about TSN and SN being Toronto homers, you sure watch them a lot.

Which one of the Mythbusters are you? The one with the beret? You mean like that one guy on social media that reposted a video from 2021?
But I thought it's the Toronto homer network. Doesn't sound like something homers would say lolwow

These networks and other news sites all know what drives engagement: Outrage and takes. They'll say whatever gets them eyeballs on their product. But I thought it's the Toronto homwr network. Does t sound like something homers would say lol

hahaPlus he says TSN as if they are this one entity. TSN could mean the overdrive boys who are clearly Leaf fans or Leaf haters like Craig Button. Meaningless
that is because they are always the main topic... lolMost of the time the paneling saying "The Leafs are playing well" or "doing good things" is seen as homer takes. Meanwhile it is ignored when they lose the same panels are roasting the shit out of them and their players.
it was 690 tsn montrealBut I thought it's the Toronto homwr network. Does t sound like something homers would say lol
Agreed. It's not that it's a homer network but instead it's a make news network. They do it well lolThese networks and other news sites all know what drives engagement: Outrage and takes. They'll say whatever gets them eyeballs on their product.
I've yet to see a single NHL broadcast on any network that is entertaining. The only certainty in any game is that I will change the channel during an intermission, but I don't do that for NBA or NFL games because they use broadcasters (i.e., former players or coaches) with actual personality or with somewhat intelligent things to say. Hockey is downright awful. CBC? I'd rather put a fork in my eye than listen to Ron MacLean or anyone on that network. TSN and SN are equally terrible, although at least Jeff O'Neill can sometimes be entertaining I don't find the US broadcasts to be any better, although again sometimes Subban can be entertaining.Agreed. haha
TSN and SN are homers
once the leafs out then it calms down
face it top stories all year, open the webpage why more stories then any other Canadian city
that is because they are always the main topic... lol
Agreed. CBC/Sportsnet is awful during intermissions with Botterill and Maclean being the worst one's for me.I've yet to see a single NHL broadcast on any network that is entertaining. Ron is employed by Sportsnet, all CBC does is show the Sportsnet broadcast.CBC? I'd rather put a fork in my eye than listen to Ron MacLean or anyone on that network. TSN and SN are equally terrible,
Reverse psychology aimed to get Leafers in the house tonight to be “extra” loudBut I thought it's the Toronto homer network. Doesn't sound like something homers would say lol
Sacrebleu!! I can’t imagine they would say that about Torontoit was 690 tsn montreal
pfft. "tabernac" would be the appropriate french canadian expletive in this situationSacrebleu!! I can’t imagine they would say that about Toronto
I put it on pause and go have an intermission smoke. I’ll refrain from ragging on them all, but it’s all pretty useless stuff. Besides highlights of other games or any injury updates from the ongoing game, it’s easily skipped. Have a couple more puffs and then I can also skip past the commercials when the game resumes. Winner Winner.I've yet to see a single NHL broadcast on any network that is entertaining.
