Benoit-Bennett would be a good fight imo.To say sam bennett will fight is replying with Benoit. Benoit fight above his weight so he'd probably be OK against Bennett. My point is nobody is afraid of these guys. They're not a tom Wilson or lucic type guy
This is a very good assesment but nobody will break the will of guys like Tanev McCabe and Carlo.....Florida might win the series but no way they intimidate those guys......To me and I am sure this will be shouted down, Florida has taken over the NZ, we are back to keeping the correct gaps, and knocking pucks down at the blueline, when we are going good, that is a staple of the system we play. Helps to turn the play back up ice and allows us to quickly get in on the forecheck.
The forecheck is wearing the Leafs D down, and they are now hearing footsteps.
Panthers were a just lot better at preventing it last night. They were snuffing things out at Leafs blue line / neutral zone much better than previously. The Panthers actually got to “their game” last night for the first time this series. Their forecheck was way more productive last night.I know the Panthers forecheck was punishing, but holy shit, the Leafs D are getting crushed. Just relentless. Poor Tanev is taking a beating.
The funny thing is, the Leafs were really capitalizing with the odd man rushes in the first few games, and were even finding success with their own crash and bang forecheck. For some reason, that seemed to change last night. Did PMo adapt? Was the D using the half wall to get the puck out quicker? I know the hits were a lot closer last night, but the Leafs just didn't seem to have to same space as in Games 1-3, especially with the odd man rushes.
Or is it just me?
All due respect, but Bs fans would be happy to tell you how Carlo will hold up from previous series'.This is a very good assesment but nobody will break the will of guys like Tanev McCabe and Carlo.....Florida might win the series but no way they intimidate those guys......
Not sure of the playoffs in question. But Benoit fought Olivier in a 4-0 game for Toronto. No reason to fight the best fighter (if we can agree that olivier is the best fighter )but he did. So I seriously doubt he was scared of GadjovichBenoit-Bennett would be a good fight imo.
Gadjovich is definitely someone they’re afraid of. Go back and watch Lundell put Benoit into the boards. Benoit skates over and has words until Gadjo shows up, Benoit can’t get away fast enough.
To be accurate Kermit is a puppet. A "Muppet”, is a trademarked name, refers to puppets descended from Jim’s originals that are created for Sesame Workshop and appear on Sesame Street or are owned by DisneyKermit is a muppet, not a puppet. At least get the smack talk right.....
My bad, then. Gracias for that info.To be accurate Kermit is a puppet. A Muppet”, is a trademarked name, refers to puppets descended from Jim’s originals that are created for Sesame Workshop and appear on Sesame Street or are owned by Disney
Yes, Olivier is the current champ. That fight Olivier did t give Benoit a lot of ways out of it. Tangled up in the corner, Olivier wrapped him up and said let’s go. Good on Benoit, but neither guy did much. You’ll have to ask Benoit why he skated away after Gadjovich got involved, but he did.Not sure of the playoffs in question. It's actually both. Hands and rods. The puppeteer's dominant hand goes inside the Muppet's head to control the mouth and often facial features, while the other hand, or a rod, is used to manipulate the Muppet's arms. Some Muppets, like Big Bird, are larger and require a harness and two puppeteers for full control. My bad, then. Gracias for that info.
But it’s operated by pulling strings, not a hand stuck inside of it, I think![]()
Well. It wouldn't be a good trade off for the leafs.Yes, Olivier is the current champ. That fight Olivier did t give Benoit a lot of ways out of it. What is going on with you lol. It's actually both. Hands and rods. I think his joke would have been even funnier if the person's avatar was big bird. But he gave a good "smack talk" with what he had.
Nor is losing LundellWell. It wouldn't be a good trade off for the leafs.
For your father's sake, I hope so. My dad is 93.My dad could beat up your dad!
They haven’t taken advantage of it yet, now all of a sudden they will? Not seeing it, they were up 2 games to none and now it’s tied, they’ll be gripping their sticks a little tighter on Wednesday.Because there is no momentum from game to game in a series. How many people said St. Louis would beat Winnipeg after game 4 of that series? Florida still gives up a lot of odd-man rushes to the Leafs, and I think the leafs will take advantage of that, especially on home ice.

So in fact Kermit is a muppet that is just a puppet.
So the smack is accurate and funny.
They absolutely took advantage of it in games 1 through 3.They haven’t taken advantage of it yet, now all of a sudden they will? Not seeing it, they were up 2 games to none and now it’s tied, they’ll be gripping their sticks a little tighter on Wednesday.
Curious what this has to do with this series?
I know the Panthers forecheck was punishing, but holy shit, the Leafs D are getting crushed. Just relentless. Poor Tanev is taking a beating.

Because that is what the Panthers do. They pound the shit of the D, and have such a relentless forecheck, that if the opponent makes it to game 7, they have very little left.
As the series goes on, the Leafs D is taking the most punishment, forcing them into mistakes or moving the puck quicker than they want. That, along with the Panthers play in the neutral zone, makes it harder for the Leafs to get anything going. On the flip side of that, that Panthers style of play has also opened up opportunities for odd man rushes and breakaways, which we’ve seen in this series, and in the past.
Can't say I'm shocked.Yup. We pound your D. All. Night. Long. All series.
