It's been a fun series so far.

4 close games. Some spiciness but that's hockey. Seen some great goalie play, some wild bounces and two teams that both lay on the hits.

Hoping that Bob is back to playoff mode, and well momentum has switched sides, but Panthers have to win one on the road, something they can do if they decide to play in the 1st period in Toronto lol.

Game 1, 2 and 3 were all probably 50/50 games that could have gone either way.

Game 1 had a missed trip on the Leafs that they scored the GWG directly after. Game 2 with some wild officiating and a flukey Marner goal. Game 3 was OT with many flukey goals, all involving Riley

Game 4 was the only game where I’d say it wasn’t a 50/50 coin flip kinda game. Panthers style wears you down over the series, they only get better the deeper the series goes.

I said whoever wins Game 4, wins the series.
I feel like game 1 and 2 weren't close though, Leafs were the way better team game 1 and it was only close because Woll came in close and let in some stinkers, game 2 was Florida domination but Bob sucked. Should have been a multiple goal Florida win honestly. Agreed about games 3 and 4 though.

Games 1 and 2 weren't close because Bob played like crap. When Bob plays like we are accustomed then the Panthers are the better team.

It kind of feels like the Leafs gave the Panthers a punch in the mouth the 1st couple games...maybe Florida thought they were going to roll over the Leafs? Florida punched back last night lol have to see if Toronto has an answer for that or not.

Yep, a lot were close games I agree. From Panther's perspective they should be very confident too. They're definitely in it.

Point is - knowing how HF and even Leaf fans tend to operate - a lot of people are now saying Leafs are done. I don't think so, I think they're still in the driver's seat. It's down to a best of 3, and they have home ice advantage.
Absolutely!

I don't think it's fair to say either of these teams are done. I think both teams have a reason to feel like they'll win this series and it's pretty tough to call at this point. The series definitely didn't feel 'over' after Game 2, and it doesn't feel over now that the Panthers have tied it.

I think we're going to see a pretty good Leafs effort on home ice in Game 5. Would be a great time for Matthews to have a big playoff statement game.

I think game 5 is the series for the Leafs honestly. Losing 3 in a row going back to Florida for game 6...I have a hard time seeing that being anything other then a game 6 L. We win game 5 and I think this thing goes 7 and who the hell knows what happens then.

Maybe, but goaltending does matter and can turn a dominant game into a coin flip game. The goaltenders, for better and for worse, have kept most games in this series super close.

While it may seem like that right now, you never know. Leafs lose Game 5, and then Woll steals one (or Stolarz returns and plays well?), or Matthews breaks out and has a huge game, or Nylander puts up a dominant effort, and you're going back to Toronto for Game 7 and probably feeling a little better with the Game 6 win under your belt.

I noticed Florida was listed as a -200 favourite last night on the majority of betting sites. Beyond home-ice advantage, is there a reason why Florida is seen as being so much better than the Leafs?

Leafs are going to win. Yeah - they had a bad game 4. But game 3 was a 50/50 oculd have gone either way, which would have given them a 3-0 series lead.

It's down to a best of 3, with Leafs having home ice advantage. Leafs will win in 6, or 7 games in my opinion.
Leafs are done. Toast. Finished. They wont win another game. Mentally weak team now broken. What home ice advantage? That tomb of an arena where they sit on their hands in silence and then boo their team off the ice? This incarnation of the Leafs team is now over.
