I think it shows how crazy the Toronto market vs even a big american market like Boston is because there is an insane amount of discussion over that play compared to the Marchand play last year that was a million times more dirty lol.

I htink the outrage about the Marchand play was reduced significantly by the fact that it was Marchand and he came right out and said 'yeah the guy is coming back off an injury, of course I took a run at him.'

The market is crazy because most Leafs fans aren't hockey fans. They're Leafs fans, usually when they're doing well. So they don't really know shit about hockey.

People keep saying that Toronto is a hockey city but it really isn't. If anything it's more of a basketball city than a hockey city if we're being honest.

Leaf colored glasses is what they wear, they are definitely a hockey town, lol.

Its changed a lot over the years. Really feels more like a basketball city than a hockey city. I see more Raptors gear and kids playing basketball than Leafs gear and kids playing street hockey. Was never like that before. Barely any of my colleagues know much about what's happening regularly with the Leafs or hockey, but they'll be happy to talk basketball and Raptors.

Or move Luosty up and run Samo with Lundy/Marchy?
I think I would prefer to leave Lousto and Lundell as a pair along with Barkov/Reinhart and Bennett/Tkachuk.

Maybe Marchand on the first or second line to get one of them going and Samo on the third?

Swaggy/Marchand-Barkov-Reinhart
Marchand/Swaggy-Bennett-Tkachuk
Lousto-Lundell-Samo

But in reality just switch samo and erod to start and see how that goes

Because the Raptors have won recently, Leafs not so much, plus its almost impossible to go to Leafs games with all the corporate seats.

It's a hockey town, I grew up there, and have much family that still lives and breathes the Leafs.

Marchand is what gives that line scoring. You cannot split him and Lundy, unless its Rhino coming down IMO

What happened

Benny drove the net got poke checked and incidental contact occurred.

What the Leafs fan saw

Crazy, I was told on the Stanley Cup forum that our fanbase supports psychotic behavior and we actively cheer injuries.
Guess the right thing to have done was to print these flyers and dox the hotel/house Hagel was at.

We truly are amateur fans.

We just have to not win the Cup again for 50 years, then we'll have that Leafs fan wisdom.
