He's been slurring his words bad all year, sometimes saying nonsensical (even for him) sentences. Has been especially bad at the end of the game stand ups. probably using everything he has to keep it together for the PBP. I don't particularly like him as an announcer but it's sad thing to see.
I kind of like that better, because it implies that there can be more than one exception, as in a minority may exist in conjunction with the majority, which is very often the case and undoubtedly is in this instance.

They lost their best or 2nd best D from that team, and a couple of important Fs (Giroux, Marchment). They aren't the same team.
It was a little early, but, yeah, fans are great. My favorite moment in the series, whoever wins, was the Broons fans singing along to living on a prayer.

Even caring about it in general I’d consider it getting a bit twisted up about it. Who cares if they chant it. It’s not becoming presumptuous about anything. The fans want the cup.
