Well, maybe because since the season started we've relied on our goalies to be 98% effective, allowed our PP to win games, and just said f*** it with 5 v 5 play.

Team needs to fully hand the keys over to Kakko and Laf next season. They need to play equal to or greater minutes than guys like Panarin, Kreider and Zibanejad every single game next season. I have more faith in them to eventually perform well in the playoffs than I do our supposed vets. Maybe if we're lucky Kakko and Laf develop into strong first line level players while Panarin and Kreider still have something left in their tanks and can help out in supporting roles.
