I’m definitely getting sick. So I went with a triple shot of tequila in a tall glass and topped it with a hard seltzer.

My wife and I are in the process of packing because we move Monday. That’s a yay + ugh, moving sucks situation.

I got promoted Tuesday. I knew it was coming but formally sat down with the CEO and COO who came down from MA to meet with me and make it official. This morning my best work buddy quit, likely because he’d been there years longer than me and felt I’d leap frogged him and his opportunity had diminished. Made the promotion bitter sweet.

Henrik started walking. That’s another yay + ugh, now we have to keep a much closer eye on him and baby proof everyyyyything type of milestone.

And I’m definitely getting sick. I feel like dog shit.

Like I said, weird week. But excellent excuse to pour another triple tequila concoction. I just hope to see respectable effort tonight. That’s all I ask for.
