Just a reminder that I also have a list of people not participating in tonight's thread.
I'm here, I'm here... I won't be later as I have to watch games in delay after putting my 87 (4) kids to bed.

Got an odd sense of confidence and optimism right now. So we'll see how that works out.

Rangers win tonight. I can feel it everywhere. In my bones, in my muscles, in my tendons, in my ligaments, etc. Everywhere.

4-2. Igor 1 assist. Goal scorers: Chytil, Miller, Zibanejad, Tarasenko.

Unreal to think Igor has only allowed 6 goals over 4 games, yet this series is tied. Will this finally be his first playoff you-know-what?

It was a game that would go down in hockey history. The New York Rangers were up against the New Jersey Devils in a playoff game, and no one expected what was about to happen.

From the very start of the game, the Rangers dominated the ice. They were quick, they were sharp, and they were on fire. The Devils, on the other hand, seemed sluggish and unprepared. It was as if they had already given up before the game had even started.

As the game progressed, the Rangers' lead continued to grow. Every shot they took seemed to find the back of the net, while the Devils' shots were either deflected or missed the mark entirely. The score climbed higher and higher, and it became clear that this was going to be a blowout.

But no one could have predicted just how much of a blowout it would be. With only a few minutes left in the game, the Rangers were up 18-0. They had already broken several records, and it seemed like they were content to simply run out the clock.

But then, something strange happened. The Rangers began to play even harder, as if they were determined to make the score as lopsided as possible. They continued to take shot after shot, and every one seemed to find the back of the net.

When the final buzzer sounded, the score was an incredible 20-0 in favor of the Rangers. It was a record-breaking victory, and one that would be remembered for years to come.

The Devils were understandably crushed by the defeat. They had been completely outplayed and outclassed by the Rangers, and it was a bitter pill to swallow. But the Rangers' fans were overjoyed. They had witnessed something truly special, and they knew that their team was capable of anything.

In the end, the Rangers went on to win the playoffs that year, cementing their place in hockey history. But it was that incredible victory over the Devils that would be remembered as one of the greatest moments in the sport's history, and one that would never be forgotten.

LGR

Btw NHL Network and Fatso Marty is saying good things about Igor.

They just had Maloney too and said Rangers need to crash the net and need Kreider do what he used to do, crash the net to send a message to score.

I hope the boys brought their dancing shoes. And you know what they say about men who can dance. If you can dance…then you can dance.

You have to jump on the Devils early and not let them get comfortable. They’re a young team with little playoff experience particularly handling momentum swings in series. Try and exploit that and get the jump on them early.
