Are intermissions in the playoffs a couple minutes longer? Thought I heard that somewhere

What I don't get is that he was basically in the same situation last year and he basically outplayed half our d-men...this is odd IMO, but it may have just been the fact that he was a regular in WBS and not this year

he was the bottom of the line last year. No real pressure from guys behind him. He was probably running on adrenaline. Now he's probably looking over his shoulder at Engo and Bortuzzo and overthinking things.

Yeah, never realized that. He was basically the 6th d-men with no real pressure

No, they just feel that way.

New CBA states intermissions will be 18 mins, up from last years 17.

Also Penguins don't do intermission games on the ice during the playoffs like the regular season..

and Adams with 4:37 :help:

I don't understand the Adams hate. Sure, he has absolutely no offensive ability. But he is an absolute PK warrior and adds some physicality on the forecheck in the offensive zone. The fact that we had to go on the PK twice in that period is probably why he had 4+ minutes. I think Adams is a role player you win in the playoffs with

to be fair, when the Pens "get to their game" they are pretty unbeatable. The issue we should be looking at is Bylsma's ability to get the team to their game.

you know how fans of western conference teams thumb their nose at everything from the east? well those fans are in awe of the pens forecheck. i have yet to see the punishing forecheck that won them the come-from-behind game in Boston.

You know your team has issues when the announcers are wondering "which team is going to show up" in the second period.
