Not giving nearly enough credit to the Pens goalies who also stopped a ridiculous 65 of 68 shots. Goaltending was great across the board in Game 1. Let's be objective about this. Its not like the Rangers didn't have great chances to close out that game.

I’m convinced at this point that some fans will just blame the goaltender. We’ve seen it with Hank, and you see it with Igor, they just come out and bag on them even when they’re the reason we are where we are.

They really haven't though. They crushed us in high danger chances. Both of those goalies made a few big saves for them. Most of the time we made it extremely easy on them. They did what they needed to do but they didn't really steal much away from us.
We've had 1 tough shot this game that he gloved. Even the goal was lucky off Crosby as Copp didn't get all of that shot.
