this is BS. the tax rate for most us states is proably on average 6%. Plus the panthers need to pay half their income on road games, but signing bonuses will be in the home state. difficult to account for so lets just use a round number like 5%. Canada has a 4% lower tax bracket but their provincial taxes are higher. Ontario is 14% so thats only like 10% higher than Florida and Quebec is 20% higher.

so assuming a 88M cap

Average US advantage - 92.6M
Ontario - 97.7M
Quebec - 110M

I’m leaning towards believing Stoli for now, but just for the sake of the argument, imagine if he’d said, hey it was the hard slapper I’m pretty sure.

The fallout would be way worse.
“Why was he left in the game?”
“Why didn’t he take himself out?”
“Are the masks that vulnerable?”

The easier path is to say Benny did it. He’s already the asshole villain. It steers fans to yell at the refs and the hockey gods.

So it’s my turn in the EU time zone, didn’t watch any of game 7 or game 1. Hate to admit it, 2 and 0 in blowouts since I’m not watching while in EU. Could be a bigger factor even than legos. Or at least a significant anti Goldie jinx.

Game 7 and Game 1 I did not watch either. I am too tired because these games start later now.

The previous games I got up at around 430am, to see the last 3rd of the game. Last nights game, and tomorrow's game I will get up as normal in the morning, and skim through the game. Game 3 I will watch, as its the weekend, and I can sleep on Sunday.

If they happen to make it to the FInals, I will probably get up every game night around 430/5, to watch the 3rd period, depending on the days.

The problem I have is I cant watch the replay of the game, because I need to know what happened, so I scrub through the game quick. Im "impatient!"
