Three questions for this series.

1. How many games can Andersen play? He has been healthy very long time already.
2. Can Svech keep his mind in the game with Bennett, Tkachuk and Marchand?
3. How tired are Panthers?

Barring injuries, Barkov vs Aho will be interesting. Both teams have good depth. Florida has a lot of that intangible grit that may give them the edge here.

I don’t think my Caps are as bad as they looked in that last series. Ergo, the Canes must be good. I picked them to win in 7 but it wouldn’t surprise me if they won earlier than that.
Absolutely. The Caps lost a good bit of mojo when Thompson and Protas went down injured and didn't look too great down the stretch. Took the series against an extremely hard working Habs team. Were fairly healthy in the Canes series and had energy. Canes simply outplayed a very good Caps team.

Canes can hang with anyone. Big question for me is can the Canes get great goaltending while at the same time be able to solve the FLA D and Bob to put enough goals on the board?

This series is an intriguing one. The Canes are complete gamers and should give FLA all they can handle. Super excited for the series to start.

Haven’t watched a single Canes game this postseason because 🥱 Took a quick look at their roster today and I’m genuinely confused. How did they make it this far with a roster like that?

There's this thing called defense. A lot of teams don't know about it, but Carolina plays a whole bunch of it.

It's funny to look back at the 2023 series where each game was decided by a one goal margin and half of them in OT. Tkachuk scored three of the four game-winning goals and Bobrovsky played lights out. As I said before, Florida has a very good team on paper, but I don't think they will get the benefit of doubt with goaltending this time around nor is Tkachuk going to be as clutch as back then. If they should win, they will have to find some other advantage this time around.
Slavin was concussed for part of the series as well, although I don't recall how much ice time he missed.

1 - he got knocked out of first round by Meier and missed tons of time the season. Canes had goalie carousel all season.
2 - yes. Marchand has been owned by Carolina last few seasons. Canes are stocked up on rat poison.
3 - any team that makes it this far is tired. Carolina looks tired too. Their unique system is very demanding.
