Kakko isn't hurt though, strome clearly is. Broke up the Rangers best puck possession line and now the Rangers have no possession. I can see why Cooper has cups and Gallant doesn't.

Kakko hasn't been great. Again, it doesn't matter. People can focus on that micro decision and ignore the macro problem for the Rangers, their massive pile of injuries.

The Rangers are just gassed. Two long series will do that. There is a clear difference in fitness right now between these teams. Even if we beat Tampa and somehow win this series, we'll run into the same issue with Colorado.

It's obvious that they are just done right now.
