All I know is this team still desperately needs more skill and speed. Far too many guys who have trouble getting around the ice and making plays with the puck. It's hard to win when you are routinely chasing the puck.

Its speed and will to win they need. Most of these guys don't wanna get buried in front of the net to score a goal.

Maaaaaannnn.....do NOT get me started. I DETEST Barzal and would definitely trade him before he demands stupid money for his next (undeserved) contract.

He plays zero defense, a pure perimeter player who runs from any contact, is always looking for the cute ESPN-highlight passing play instead of shooting, and has a VERY low hockey IQ (turns the puck over constantly at the blueline).

Sounds like what Rangers fans say about Panarin.

People sitting here complaining about Gallant after saying they would be happy with winning a round this year are pretty funny.
Doesn't matter, we are in this situation now and he didn't handle it well AT ALL. Allowing an injured player to play and scratching kk is a fireable offense. Moronic move.

I feel like we'll win this game but who knows with the next one. I also think you just play Strome on the pp if we ever get one and go with 3 centers, Zib, Chytil, Copp
How can you possible feel that we'll win tonight? We've created nothing and should be down 2-0 already.

Sounds like my kind of player!

I'm very interested to see what a Miller-Fox pairing might look like next season.

I'm keeping Miller away from Fox unless it's an in game adjustment due to penalty or injury. Miller has enough skills offensively, he should be free to release whenever he sees an opportunity. Paired with Fox, Miller's offensive instincts might be severly stunted.

it’s going to take a long time to get over this Strome decision. The guy is visibly injured. It’d be one thing to do cheetah flips to keep him in the lineup if he was tearing the playoffs up, but he’s been a worse version of his already bad self for the majority of them.

I am fine with Hunt playing. They can use his speed and forechecking capability.

I can even be convinced that sitting Kakko makes sense.

But to throw the withered husk of Ryan Strome into this fire is infuriating. Imagine what a fresh Brodzinski would look like in his place even.

Now watch him somehow score the 3OT winner tonight. Let my anger will that into existence.

Strome can’t even skate. This isn’t a Lindgren situation where he’s playing hurt but basically is moving adequately out there. Strome shouldn’t be in the lineup right now with how shitty his movement is. It’s a detriment to the team. I don’t care about toughness or balls or whatever if you can’t even move. Like thanks for being tough and trying but youre moving like a mens league player so you shouldn’t be out there.
