You guys please. lol Stahp making me feel bad. if i sit this one out i am WOAT future husband.

As a married man of over 10 years, please realize that going to this film with her will NOT earn you any kind of brownie points. The next time she feels like breaking your balls, she will NOT think "
Hey, I better go easy on him. After all. He DID blow off the ECF to take me to the movies." In fact, she will probably never even acknowledge the sacrifice you made for her. If you don't stand tall now, you will be whipped the rest of your life.

I told my wife that hockey is my only vice when I first dated her. I told her that I'm not a heavy drinker, I had given up smoking years earlier, not a heavy gambler, and not a skirt chaser when involved. Hockey addiction is all she would need to live with. I still play and I'm almost 50. My son plays. 75 percent of my tv viewing is hockey.

You have to make your fiancé understand this now or you can simply turn in your man card. You won't be needing it anymore.:shakehead:help:

I think that's what I plan to do the next time I start dating a woman. Set some boundaries.

I'm newly married so I hear ya but.....last night I was forced to watch love it or list it. Tonight we go out to the local pub and watch whether she likes it or not. You should have planned ahead haha

Easy out -- just tell her they changed the policy.

Knowing her, she would ask ATT how long they have been doing it for. I am not dating a dumb girl which, has its benefits and its negatives (such as this  ) I would have to at least give it a shot though.

Im anxious for this game. I assume Montreal comes out hard and we have to weather a storm. If we can do it, I think we win easily.

See as a guy with 20 years. Don't make each other do something they don't want. You'll get pissed she's huffing and puffin and same for you with the shows you'll each enjoy your fun more without the other. Just groove on the other stuff

LOL this guy they're interviewing on TSN radio, some former 80's Habs player Chris Nilan, nailed the Kreider/Price collision, and the radio guys are "Hey buddy, wait a second!" Not their actual words, but they're off put by this guy's unbiased account of it.

You sat through love it or list it? Yeah, you are newly married. Give it time.

This is a great post. My Dad has been a fan since the 60's and married for 35 years. He's told me the same thing.

Hockey is the only thing I'm addicted to. She knows that.

Here in the UK mate, we give out Knighthoods for less than this.

In fact, I'm just gonna address you as 'Sir'! By God, you've earned it :)

Chris Nilan, I am actually really surprised that he's telling it how it is. He's a Canadien to the core, played for the Rangers as well, but said he never felt connected to another team like he did to the Habs and wouldn't go as hard for them.

LOL Alright you ********, I just told her i'm not going. I was already to that point anyway, but after my best friend just texted me and said "did i really just read you're missing the game to see a movie?!" I was like **** it.

WOAT husband

GOAT fan

We better ****ing win.

Dafoe, when my wife would rather have me do something other than watch the game, I google Lundqvist - make her look into deeply his eyes, she becomes hypnotized and before you know it I'm watching the game.

Who is replacing brassard tonight? Carcillo or miller?

D. Moore, Carcillo is in. Logical decisions IMO.

I particularly enjoyed how he said if Gallagher did something like that, Therrien would be defending him, and the guy interrupts him.

"WELL..."
