I much rather prefer eating the thinner, slimmed asparagus that is much more tender and less fibrous than the thicker more stalky asparagus because I don't appreciate the texture of stringy asparagus strings getting caught inside the inside of my gum-line or betweenst my teeth like some sort of nature's dental floss because I much rather prefer to floss with actural dentist-approved floss AFTER eating a meal than doing it whilst eating the meal if you know what I'm saying.

Bottom lined: Thick Asparagus is literally pig-disgusting whilst thin, slender asparagus is much more tender and aesthetic in terms of a overall chewing experience.
