Easton skate sizes

I have the 1500C's, wear a 10.5 size Nike tennis shoe and I wear an 8.0 in my Easton skates. 1.5 sizes down should not be a problem, make sure and get some good hockey socks while you're at it, that can cut down a half size over a tube sock.

Well, I wear a 7.5 or 8 street shoe depending on brand, and I wear size 7 easton synergies.

Skates fit differently depending on the shape of your foot. If you've never worn a skate before, try it on to see how it fits on your foot. If you try on skates and the 6.5 is too small and the 7.5 is too large, then you know you fit the 7s and you can order a pair or the store can order them for you.

not many stores around here, and the ones that are don't sell easton skates

Well, that's a big problem since you're looking at closeout skates.

And BTW, http://www.hockeymonkey.com/easton-hssynergy800csr.html
Much better skate- one piece composite boot, much better performance and protection. At full price it's more then 100 dollars more, you would get it for an extra 30.
And they have it in a 7, which it sounds like you would need from the chart.

So, if you go by the chart it's a gamble, but that's your call.

I would just go to any LHS and get whatever wheel felt right. try them all on, you might not even want Eastons after *cough Mission cough* :naughty:

You should be fine and it sounds like you want them. Buy them, if they don't fit put them on Ebay. You should know when you put them on your foot for the 1st time. Either you're Cinderella or the clock struck midnight and you lost some cash.

I'm looking at these skates:http://www.hockeymonkey.com/easton-hssynergy500sr.html

in the sizing chart it says if you wear a size 8 USA you should get a 6.5 easton skate, and if you wear size 9 you should get 7.5. I'm probably closer to 8 than I am 9, you think the 6.5 easton's would fit? or would they be too tight?

Yes, 6.5 should be okay. Little tight is fine as long as you do not feel your toes pressing against the boot when you get your skates UNDER THE CHAIR (both feet). If I were you, I'd order two pairs (second size 7.0) and see which one fits better. then return unwanted pair. You lose money on shipment, but Monkey gives you enough discount plus peace of mind worth some $.

Closeout skates. He can't return a pair. But he could throw the pair that doesn't fit on ebay.
