Hi,
just started skating and practicing my stick skills on my homemade skillpad. Since I am new at skating, falling is a part of the routine. I therefore want to invest in good elbow pads that I can start wearing under my clothing for the skating practice (so good padding for the elbow is needed, preferably not too bulky) and that I can use when I start playing hockey games later on (so good slash protection).
Was looking at the new Mako M5 Elbow pads, but since they are pretty new, it is hard to find reviews on them. So I was wondering if any of you guys had a look at these or had some experience with them?
I also have a question regarding the sizing. I am about 6'1'' and weigh around 140 pounds (so pretty skinny, I know
). I think going for a size Medium would be the way to go according to the different sizing charts on the online vendors websites. What do you think.
I would like nothing better than to go and try some pads in hockey stores, but we live in the middle of nowhere and it is virtually impossible for me to get to a store.
Thank you guys for the input.
