How about shutting our number #1 line down and the boys appearing to have an effort level that would indicate they were going to accept losing? How about the coach calling the team fragile and players themselves again saying they're too easy to play against?

The excuses around here and pointing at other teams losing streaks as a "see it happens to TB too". Noone is like the Leafs. Noone has failed like the Leafs

I mean, when your top line main scorer plays with a wrist injury, that requires off season surgery, and can't shoot... it's going to happen.

I for one invite it. They’re not as god as those Boston teams that broke our hearts, but they’re damn good and skating that dragon (bear?) would go a long way to building up to a cup run
Double edged sword my Leaf brother. Easier win or even more humiliating loss.

Still it would be beyond sweet.

Swayman looks hot right now, and Ulmark is the backup they will be dangerous if he keeps it up.

Their goaltending looks good. So did ours until it didn’t (Muzzin and Campbell injuries) I’m just saying there are question marks for Boston too. Their goaltenders haven’t proven anything really

I think Tampa is a better matchup for Toronto than Boston. Would be very scared of Boston.

TB has deteriorated at 5-on-5 and Toronto's bottom-six is significantly better. Tampa's main strength is on special teams, which Toronto has been very good at. Contrary to popular belief, TB is not really a very active rush offense team (they get more cycle and forecheck chances), with rush defense really being Toronto's only significant 5-on-5 weakness.

The Leafs' failings in the playoffs have really come down to goal scoring. I would not want that to be the team history and then have to face off against the best defensive team in the NHL, by a significant margin.

I think Muzzin impact is really underrated

For me Muzzin is the most important dman of toronto.

When everybody is healthy, who playing against top pair, who's playing on worst defensive situation of the team, whos staring the most defensive zone shift? Jake Muzsin so if he hurt the consequence? Who was playing against top pair? Tonstart rielly and brodie and at this moment this pair started to struggle really hard. Sandin move up in the line up with holl. They started to struggle. Toronto upgrading liljegren responsabilities and he started to struggle.

Keefe finally tried brodie with holl, rielly with lyubushkin and torontobstart tonlook better but not as good of the first 2-3 month? Why?Brodie just started to play muzzin role but not as good than Muzzin, lyubushkin played brodie role with rielly but not as good than brodie. sandin/dermott/liljegren get lower responsabilities

Campbell started to struggle when muzzin get injured. 0.931 % before injury

Toronto moved from top 5 to outside of top 15 because they lost their best defensive dman and create a really big hole in their d group. Now they traded for giordano who can still able to play a shutdown role and muzzin will be back. Its the best d leafs had since 2003-2004 with mccabe, kaberle, leetch, klee

Yup this is exactly what I’ve been saying in a few threads, but namely my optimistic view of our goaltending thread. I don’t think it’s at all a coincidence our goaltending struggles began when Muzzin went down

Its like montreal, why they move from a average d and stanley cup finalist because of his defensive gane to the worst defensive team? Lost Shea Weber

Why philly moved from 7th in 2019 to worst defensive next season? They lost Niskanen

Its the same exact thing

Regardless, leafs wouldn't be able to beat jets & VGK
No lol, Leafs would have steam rolled Winnipeg. Literally everything that could have went wrong, did go wrong in the series vs MTL, they had all the puck luck, injury luck and then those turnovers go in their favor to win in 7 and then they slaughtered Winnipeg. Vegas would've been a tougher test but they're very capable of winning that.

I'm thinking maybe seeing the Leafs win just 1 series is in order before we start speculating about them "steam rolling" anybody in the playoffs.

puck luck?? haha, I don't know about that.
Seems like you don't know about a lot of things. Your post history is laughable, stop pretending bud.

Some other interesting quotes by you, team is top 5 in the league and nothing but hating from you. Interesting.

(Talking about Marner)

Leads leafs
Crying When got hit on the board?
When will he be able to lead leafs be successful?

god bless you petre, I hope you give up 7+ goals like rangers did last night!

Leafs fans are so nice and kind, tolerate to JT, even though he Played shxtty!
Can we send him back to Isles?

If I were AM, I probably will do the same as Pietrangelo did years ago, or Just like JT did to Isles, walk out once the contract is done.
leave leafs.

Those might be some of the most important games left on the Leafs regular season schedule, for both final seeding in the Atlantic and well as view into potential 1st round opponents.

Leafs also close out the season against TB on April 21st, Florida April 23 and Boston April 29th.
