Yea, the sump was f***ed at the farm house. Big mess in the basement. What a wild spring we're having too. Hope all is well for you

It's almost like I had to deal with some real life shit during the game, and had some free time elsewhere. Crazy how life works hey
It's almost like you always find time to shit on the Leafs and Matthews but no time to discuss the success they've been having, especially during a historic season like this one. Franchise record in points, franchise record in goals scored. The jig is up my guy.

This is the key here, do the Leafs players have enough of that will to win. Matthews looks different to me this year... focused. Marner worked on his game this year, he's focused. These seem to be changed guys to me... and now, we put that to the test. Your best players need to be your best, and your leaders need to lead.

I don't care much that Tampa won the last two Cups, or much of any of the regular season stats. I don't care about the sixty goals, or anything. You want to win, you have to make it happen..

I do have a good feeling this year, and the past few years, I've had a quiet dread... I dunno, I think they are going to win a round or two minimum here.

One thing about Marner that he has this year is his much improved shot, which should hopefully help a ton in the playoffs.

In previous years it was so easy to shut them down because everyone knew the pass was going to Matthews. not any more.

well it still is i guess but more like 70% of the time instead of 90% lol

Regular season means jack shit. Do it in the playoffs, then I'll be impressed. Nobody can say I've been inconsistent with my message

Greatest match would mean we take them to at least game 6, but we all know that won't happen happy if we take two wins. Atleast it would be the end of Dubas and this garbage management we have put up with.
Fact is, we dont know what is going to happen. This series is going to be a toss-up. The past should not and cannot dictate the future. But you are entitled to your oipinion, even if it does not follow any logic.

Dubas and this garbage management has assembled a team that has just put up the most points in a season for a storied franchise like the Leafs. They have also assembled a team where many players posted career years. They have played an extremely exciting and entertaining brand of hockey. In a year where we play the 2x Cup champs in a pickem series, regardless of what happens, Dubas and the management team are not going anywhere.

What’s your prediction? Tampa in 4 or 5?

Never understand fans who rip their own for opposing team clout
I believe that Leafs will have to fight tooth and nail against Tampa to win the series. Lots of grit, willingness to take a hit to make a play (almost nonexistent vs habs) grinding and relentless pressure will get it done, not crying in the penalty box, avoiding scrums and soft ballet from last year. All these things are obvious, but with Leafs you never know. I really want them to play like playoff team, is it too much to ask?

Sounds like Keefe will be reuniting Tavares and Nylander for the playoffs.

Not sure that I like that considering how they get dominated in their own zone.

I guess the Kampf Miky Engval line will be reunited.

Really no choice if you want to run that 3rd line.

Part of the reason I think Nylander may leave this summer. It’s hard to fit him in.

I'd do it only if we don't lose talent. he has 2 years left at a really reasonable number. should be worth a ton.

Not inconsistent. Just very wrong.

He’d have pretty good value IMO.
Obviously Tavares would be the preference but that isn’t happening and if the two can’t play together not many options left.

ya the other 3 aren't being moved. he's the guy. ironic that after all the squawking that was done over his contract that it's so good he ends up getting traded.

Contract is fine but that’s not the reason he’d be moved.

Wow you guys are really going for a deep dive hey. You'd think I was running for president.

You've got an odd definition of "very wrong." My only miss there was Flyers in Leafs out.
😂Zeke took the Leafs to sweep to the finals last year. Everyone is wrong from time to time.

Well that's dumb. That Engvall-Kampf-Nylander line looked like it was really starting to build chemistry.
