I know right, just when I was looking at the seat sale, Boston and Tampa are about to flip places. Not sure I want to attend a game in Boston. I mean I do, but.. do I?
I went down to games 3 and 4 to visit my wife's family nearby and of course we went to both games in spring 2019 .. sat behind net to see Leafs shoot twice .. 1st game was very fast and well played skill matchup .. then 2nd game was a goon show .. Bruins decided their only chance to win was to goon up Rielly .. those 2 refs put away da whistle and let da mauling occur .. elbows to head, charges, boards, interference, knees, punches to head, etc .. my wife has not been to an NHL game since it was that bad .. and Bruins fans were egging it on .. nothing happened to either ref .. nothing .. it was da worst gong show reffing display since days of Tiger Williams and his 2 handed stick shots to peoples heads (but those days it was da norm and all of us who played in that era knew what we were getting every game and practice .. da refs would talk to us players and tell us things like it is ok if you run that guy through boards i won't call it he needs to be taught a lesson just don't cut him)

I might as well be put on a ventilator if we play Boston. My hatred for that team is through the rood and I am always on the edge of my seat yelling and cursing at whoever is in the room. That is just pre-game.
You'll be able to relax for that series trust me. Boston have no scoring. They will get blown out almost every game in that series. Leafs could and should sweep them. Its just that Simmonds and company will have to do some protecting when the the games get outta hand.

All likely Boston needs is 1 more point than Tampa over the final 6 games to face Leafs.

They'd likely win the tiebreaker in that case (regulation wins, ROW, wins, head-to-head points even).

I'd like to see us play Tampa, as others have said I feel like we match up well.

Not that it matters but we all know even if the Leafs win the cup if we don't beat Boston that will be the new goal post. Doesn't count cause we haven't beat them yet

Regardless of who we play, if our goaltending holds up, chances are pretty good that we will win and if doesn't, chances are pretty good that we will lose. So that being the case, I guess I'd prefer another crack at the Bruins but don't really care that much.

Leafs also have a lot of say in who they play. If they beat Tampa tomorrow and Boston wins their game, Boston leapfrogs Tampa. Leafs also play Boston on the very last day of the regular season in 9 days. The result there could also be potentially impactful.

Dubas should be fired then.
We $kimped on goalies. Cheaping out on Freddie was a bad plan.

And how many playoff series has he won?

It was time to move on from Freddie. I'd rather have Campbell in a critical game over the Freddie we had learned to expect his last couple of seasons here.
