If Skinner shits the bed at home again on a Saturday night they’ll no longer be able to avoid the reality that he’s a joke and the position needs to be addressed.

Sad that is has to work this way, but Skinner implosions are effectively an investment at this point. The only thing that can possibly force management’s hand. If he’s even below mediocre that will be enough for them to tell themselves that he’s the guy and it will just all work out.
Remember the whole "Craig's on it" meme. Time for the "Schwartzy's on it" meme.

So yeah, that Skinner guy... and the news that management sees no problem with him. Anyone else getting the sense that the same issues are occurring regardless of who is in charge? I wonder the upper guys are trying to meddle again. That, or Jackson just isn't as good as we thought. But I prefer the conspiracy theory, so I choose to believe that instead.
even if edm plays perfect hockey and only gives up 15 shots with a few scoring chances, he still manages to blow it. It’s wild how commited they are to him. Any other team who’s not in a full rebuild would have shipped him out ages ago. I wish our GM’s had the balls Vegas does. Lol

Man, I'm glad we have 6 days off after so folks can come back. Podz and Brown as Drai's wingers, Kapanen as a McWinger and a potential right side of Emberson, Stetcher and J Brown is just downright frightening. The boys better bring their work boots cause the only chance they have is a disciplined 110% percent effort from everybody. Skinner better have one of his, increasingly rare, good games too.

Yikes.

We suck right now. But with Nurse, Hyman, Kane out. That is pretty much 19M plus accrued or unspent cap space. So essentially a quarter of our cap hit just sitting and not contributing.

This season hasn’t been good. Gets worse with these injuries and tonight and the Minnie game aren’t real reflections of where this team is at.

It's sad that we are hoping for our own goaltender to implode in order to force a change-- embarrassing really.

I might be wrong but I see little evidence to suggest that Skinner>Picard. Picard isn't a great goalie either but seems to be calmer and more composed on the ice. They are both tweeners??

Well, what do I know? My favorite actor of all time is ALF.

Pickard mostly stays in the net and doesn’t slide all over the place like a lost penguin when the other team starts cycling the puck. I feel way more calm when he’s in net even though he lets in some stinkers.

Last year we had luck with injuries...this year it evens out a little bit... luckily it seems nothing to serious (-Kane) and maybe RV...I know everybody hopes that Stu shits the bed again so the management has to do something...but I think he will have this one good game witch bails him out for the next five meltdown games...and everything starts again and the cycle continues.

If he gets shelled again the management has to realize that he isn't it right? RIGHT!?!?!?!!?
Apparently this day never comes. "We're just gonna give Skinner more rope until he hangs himself"

Skinner night plus the snowstorm and minimum priced tickets are down 70bucks from what they were just days ago. Food inclusive tickets even more down, 200bucks for some, as it could be hard keeping food and drink down on Hockey Night With Skinner.

I'm a bit worried. Some of these Rangers can score.

And one of the best goalies on the planet doesn't hurt their cause. Big price tag mind you.

We knew Arvidsson was a bandaid when we signed him. And Jeff Skinner hadn't played a meaningful game in his career and we are starting to see why.
But the roster still looks a lot less thin with Hyman, Kane and Arvidsson back.

I don’t get the Skinner hate haha he leads the forwards not named McDrai in goals and that’s with Knob using him terribly. He’s going to score 20+ goals easily imo.

He should be put with McDavid and just get open. He knows how to. But you have RNH there as well and he loses his man on the backcheck constantly.

This is goalie killing season. its the new cheatcode. Get better starter than Skinner and just start Pickard more and we're set.
