Typically I don’t get into offers & counter offers b/c fans never agree and I refuse to get into circular discussions/debates. 10th OA is too much IMO, but depending on the Hawks needs I’m sure something could be worked out. Jets have some potential top 6 wingers on the roster, shut down centre, interesting D prospects, etc.
Hawks are pretty set at Forward. Also pretty set at D prospects as well.
Probably would ask for a legit top 4 defenseman. Unless you have any solid young goalies laying around?
The 10th overall for strome is definitely an overpay but it’s probably the most enticing asset to build a deal around for the hawks.

Personally I wouldn’t trade for Patrick at this stage, too many health risks and I wouldn’t want to offend Flyer fans with a lowball offer. Flyers better off keeping him and that he over comes his health issues and develop into a top 6 player.
FYI: Most Jets fans couldn’t careless where a player is from, so being Manitoba kid means nothing. Of course there are some exceptions in each fan base.

The flip side of that is once he proves he can stay healthy, Philly's asking price will increase...
He's a buy-low candidate
I think Philly would just hold onto Patrick for now, rather than trade him for a lack lustre return.

Strome is one of the interesting tier 2 type of solutions that could be a realistic trade......but I wouldn’t give up the 10th OA pick imo. Interesting to see who Chevy gets, very possible it is Strome just not sure his cost.
Of course Strome is worth more than 10 OA, was 0.9 PPG last year arriving in CHI, showing very good things and was on pace for 50-60 points, is still only 23 years old.
In any case he will be at least a second line center (something WPG needs) which is worth more than a 10 OA which you hope will turn into a top 6 F in 3/4 years... This board overvalues picks... especially for teams like WPG which should think about contending right now
