Dustin Brown has been heavily criticized for his play, or lack thereof the last few seasons. To be sure, he hasn't played up to expectations.

But this season, Brown has been one of the LA Kings' best players. He's not putting up points left and right, but he is dangerous on almost every shift and has put up points at a pace that puts him ahead of his 2015-16 numbers, so far, and the reasons go well beyond the fact that he is no longer wearing the captain's "C" on his jersey.

To read about all the reasons behind Brown's resurgence, check out...

Really enjoyed reading this! Great quotes by Dustin and nice to have ones from Dowd, too. Insightful article, Gann.

deeply happy that he's been able to contribute in a meaningful way this season. he seems to be still quite raw from getting the C stripped which is understandable, but it sounds like he had some very specific issues with Sutter. what I wouldnt give to have been a fly on the wall for the meeting he had with Deaner....

Never had a doubt Brown would bounce back this year! Never...

(that may not entirely be true)
