First American born captain to win two Stanley Cups. Love him and love this team. Never doubted him one second.
He admitted it was his toughest season, and yet he lifted the cup again. #23 will be in the rafters one day.
I think there are several players from our current SC roster that will have their jerseys retired.
It's a great time to be a kings fan. Thanks Deano!!!
We're gonna retire a handful of jerseys when this is all over. I have no doubt in my mind you'll see 23, 32, 8, 11, and 14.
Lewis' hands will be in the rafters. Might need to reinforce the roof though.

Dustin seemed pretty choked up about his personal problems, was he just referring to his injuries?
I missed all the post-game interviews since I was driving home, but I understand a couple of the guys choked back tears. I hope I can find a link to all the post game interviews...
Brown was driven last night. What a leader. He had more energy than five guys combined in the first OT for sure. He was skating fast where no one else seemed able to keep up, including Kopitar. And he was making plays, especially in the 3rd period and the first OT.
I hope 14 gets retired, but I'm thinking 77 may have a better shot than 14, but who knows...
The Kings were not going to win the Cup with the Brown we saw in the regular season. As the playoffs moved along, we saw less and less of that Brown. Looked more and more like the Brown we saw in the 2012 playoffs. Maybe not quite at that level, but he had 8 points in the last 12 games. Including the OT game winner in Game 2. The goal he had in NY during Game 4 was like he was back in that Vancouver series.
