For those curious, Kassian had 3 fights last year. One of them was against Benoit, another one was when he got tossed around by Xhekaj, and the last one was against Kostin that wasn't much of a fight.

More rhetorical than anything else, but yeah, I get WHY. Dude looks absolutely cooked as an actual NHL player though, 2 goals (and points) in 50 some-odd games last year, my expectation for him making the team are minimal.

I'd be curious to see if he'd take an assignment in San Diego if things went that route, though.

It’s a PTO. Who cares. If he does great in camp and pre season, we sign him. If he sucks we cut him. Not sure what the big deal is. It’s not like we traded away prospects for a player and then end up waiving them like the team across the 57.
