He played for my local college team (Miami), where he looked really promising in his first season and then had an awful sophomore season due to a mysterious medical issue that caused conflict with the coaching staff (which eventually led to him transferring to Ohio State). It was a f***ing tapeworm. It was a whole thing at the time.

Also we are in a position to afford these moves, not looking for that final piece and big push to actually compete for a cup which is why those years were so infuriaiting.
