Ducks fire Greg Cronin

I think after last year's free agent season they realized high demand free agents did not want to play for anaheim under Cronin and it was detrimental to improving the team. Hopefully they can get a coach in there that will attract some new talent and grow the young talent they already have.

Not many coaches, who are with a club through rebuilding years, stay when the GM decides it’s time to try and compete. IMO the Ducks are making the turn from rebuilding and losing be acceptable (most preferred) to winning being the focus. I see several big trades coming to build a roster that can compete.
