So unfortunate that they run the most consistent Ducks podcast. Their takes suck ass, but at least it’s a weekly listen rather than the others who post like once a month.

I avoid the Locked on Ducks podcast, but I think he posts regularly. I dunno if Duck My Life counts as a consistent podcast, but I stopped listening to them when the org stopped the pre-season livestream. Sometimes I'll catch the Forever Mighty guys (I think they post once a month or longer). There's one that covers both the Ducks and Kings that I listened to once.

Jake and Felix have 1500 YouTube subscribers, after almost a decade of doing a show. If they weren’t so firmly opinionated and overly loud about it on Twitter and consistently trying to show why they feel they’re right. They would have a lot more to show for their efforts as far as subs go.Although I think they would rather have a bunch of mini Felix Jake’s who echo their sentiment than a larger more diverse audience honestly. I’m ducks starved, so I’m definitely a subscriber. I appreciate them even though I think they shoot themsleves in the feet.

Yeah I avoid locked on as well. I prefer Forever Mighty but they don’t post as often as I’d like, and DucksNPucks come across as fans that yell shoot on the powerplay.

Thank goodness we aren't going into yet another trade deadline seemingly getting more mid round picks. I'm sure the Ducks will get some but this signing indicates a change for sure.
I expect this means that Fabbri is gone if he's healthy and any other team wants him. With Sennecke on the way and the team probably needing to upgrade at wing anyway, I don't see room for Fabbri moving forward.

This deal only makes sense if we're going to bring in more high-priced players. Perhaps a big contract for Trouba?

I think Trouba gets a similar deal next year, maybe even with deferrals. He's going to take a pay cut for sure.

I like this deal for the Ducks. I thought Vatrano could/would get a 4-5 year deal as a UFA. Glad the ducks didn't do that. And the AAV is largely irrelevant for the next 3 years.

Shockingly, a coach doesn’t make lineup decisions based on whether the cap hits fit those roles. Also, good teams don’t always have clear-cut 2nd/3rd lines, so that difference isn’t very meaningful. He’s going to a valuable complementary player wherever he has the most chemistry, nobody cares if it’s the nominal 2nd or 3rd line.

Brilliant move by Verbeek. That’s one way to beat the internal cap. Kick it down the road for the next guy to deal with…

“I know we have to pay it, but Henry it’s not really a cap hit.”

Jake and Felix lost me when Felix said he doesn’t even care about the PK. Jake bases every opinion on 5 on 5 possession stats. It’s almost like special teams don’t exist.

Are they the Crash The Pond guys? I've tried listening to that podcast and they're awful.

It’s so funny to read about that podcast (Forever Mighty) as my buddies started it but I believe they turned it over to someone else.

Is it not the same guys? I feel like I’ve listened to them since they started and were posting on Reddit and I’ve thought it’s been the same guys.
Getting super into the weeds now because my curiosity was piqued.

I went back and looked right now, the last time my buddies were on was late 2022, early 2023.

They had a podcast way back in the day called the puck guys that I believe morphed into forever mighty. I found this in my texts from 2018…
