That game had a lot of similarities to the Minnesota game. The score is insulting for how hard the Rangers dominated.

I think that was Kakko’s best game of his career. Laf and Chytil also had an amazing game.

Lots to be excited about.

honestly igor lost focus. he needs shots and pressure to keep up quality play. not an excuse but it’s tough to get upset when the closest they got after the first tie up was 2 goals behind. we absolutely dominated them offensively. and I think most impressive is we never let up in the 3rd period. this is a really good start for the team.

They dominated but honestly they seem to be going through the motions defensively so far and Shesterkin is not bailing them out. Igor was the LVP this game but the game was never in doubt because they're infinitely better than the Ducks. The Ducks are really really bad and our offense is really really good. Our defense and goaltending should be better.

So last year, that was a game I wanted to see. I wanted to see them win one like that on a night when the goaltender wasn't the greatest.

It's early in the season, there is room for improvement and they can get there, but they gotta tighten up defensively. Gotta hope Gallant is letting them know that.
