Dubas rumor?

Hi Toronto fans.....Isles fan coming in peace...

I recently heard a rumor in NY about Dubas possibly replacing Lou with the isles? Now, I will say for me I really hope this is false don't want him.
But what's curious to me, we have been eliminated two weeks now. All the isles players had their exit interviews. But nothing from management or Lou. They have not addressed the media at all to discuss the season. The rumor is, he's waiting for 1 of the current playoff teams to be eliminated to bring in their GM or someone from their front office.

Have you heard anything? Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a fairy tale someone cooked up because of their Leaf history together. People here have been circulating a rumor that the Penguins want him as well. He's going somewhere if he doesn't stay here but there is no way he has already locked himself into a new gig. Even if he knows he isn't returning to TO he needs to see who might be interested in him so I wouldn't bet on him going any place yet. You could do worse. His worst mistakes were mostly very early in his career and the bane of his existence has been goalies who are not an NYI problem. Just don't let him bring Sheldon Keefe with him :)

There will probably be something with the Islanders at some point this week or early next week.

But I don't think it'll involve Dubas.

lol, thanks I hope you are right about this. But regardless, I just want Lou out...that's my only wish.

Should be interesting for both clubs. I want Lou to retire so bad....For you guys, not sure what should be done. I would try to keep the core together, or whatever will make Mathews happy. You have to resign him, that would be my #1 priority.

lol, PJ boy is all yours now. It's weird, Dubas tried bring in the right guys at the deadline and from an outside fan, I thought O'Reilly, McCabe, and Lafferty were all good moves. But the bottom line, the goalie issue is the thing he really really needed to address from the beginning. Murray is trash....

Heard a Pitts rumor, NYI is a new one.
 
A Canucks fan coming in peace. Lou Lam should go to jail for that Horvat contract. So the least he'll be getting is fired for it.

Dubas seems alright. I'd take him on my team.
