This is the Euro part of the roster for the last tourney before the big one. We have some very intriguing guys in North America right now that may or may not be available to play.

Mrtka, Psenicka, Benak and Nestrasil come to mind immediately. I think they are elibible along with Stebatek and the stuggling Pekar. Who am I missing? Who am I wrong on? This is not my age group of expertise.

So the good news is that we have the potential to field a nice team! I can't be the only one thinking a Dravecky, Mrtka and PSencickia led D is a good start? Benak with Nestrasil and Novotny on top line? Seems promising and I'm positive I am missing some obvious names here.

The bad news is that we absolutely suck at this tournament every year. We got over our U20 curse but our U18 curse lives on. I've been joking we could send the senior NT to this and still not medal.lol

Thoughts? How is it shaping up? Who will we lose to playoffs? Are USHL playoffs done by this team?

Rough day for Czech junior hockey.lol

That u20 is not even a B team so I would not put much weight into it. U17 looks kinda weaker all around though, it's second tourney in the row where they are losing everything if I am not mistaken

I 'think' the U17 is Katloicky and Novak as a super high end and then it gets weak. I could be wrong though. And Katolicky isn't playing. I don't read too much into these... we've been winning more than losing lately. I have noticed that the Finns are beating us very consistently at all levels lately though. I think they are having a bounce back from their recent 'lull'.
