Bratt does everything better than shoot.

Once these guys broke out:

Bratt: 129GP 36G 79A 115PTS | 0.28 GPG 0.61 APG 0.89 PPG
Batherson: 108GP 37G 50A 87PTS | 0.34 GPG 0.46 APG 0.81 PPG

It's close. No need for the hyperbole.

Not to mention Batherson is 5 inches taller, outweighs him by 30 pounds and plays a more physical game.

Sens have quite a few guys in their top-6 who have a specialty when it comes to offence. Norris & DeBrincat being goal scorer type guys, Stutzle & Giroux being the playmakers, and Tkachuk is a physical guy who does some serious damage around the net.

Batherson is unique in that he is the guy who really has that versatility in the Sens top-6. He can score, he can carry the puck, he can be physical, and he can make some beautiful passes.

Batherson to me is the easy choice to move around the line-up because of that versatility and that is extremely valuable.

Be my guest.

Meanwhile, Drake Batherson is making less than $5M for the next four seasons after this one.

When factoring in salaries, at least you’re right that it will likely not be very close based on what Bratt will be making.

Bratt by a clear but not huge margin.

I get the feeling a late 20s Batherson is going to be impossible to handle though.

Last season Batherson had 0.65 EVP/game while Bratt had 0.72. I don't think it's that big a difference...

In terms of on-ice impact, they were both amongst the best players on very bad teams, but Batherson's bad team had 10 more points than Bratt's bad team.

Everything is AINEC with you guys.

What do you mean, 'you guys'? Are you talking about devils fans or internet trolls :D

Both of these guys are extremely underrated and incredible players. Ppg players with different special skillsets. Both also off to incredible starts with Bratt scoring 1.7ppg and Batherson 1.5ppg.
