Draisailt was deserving of the Conn Smythe, but no way they were giving it to an EDM player 2 years in a row.
MCDavid was even more deserving. Sam Bennett was a reach.

Draisaitl lead the playoffs in sulking/60, waving his hands at his teammates mid play and coasting to the bench when a play didn't go his way.

Sam Bennett had the most road goals of all time.
Also tied with Sid and Ovie for most goals in a single playoff year. Only modern player with more is Zach Hyman last year.

Cant say I watched any Panthers games before the series, but IMO marchand or Bob were tye xlear panther picks. Marchand single handedly took over a few games and so did Bob.

Why would a guy who completely disappeared when they needed him the most deserved the CS? In last two games MCD was a no show. And was hurting his team. -5. Yikes.
Leon was awesome all year and I thought noticeably more involved in off puck play and less “cherry picky” which is why I would’ve voted for him for Hart. Much more engine of the team than stats compiler.
That’s said, by later in the playoffs, felt he was reverting to that less involved, offense only form and then that also started to dry up. Probably fatigue involved as usual. He’s a top 5 scorer in the NHL in his sleep or on one leg (I mean he actually did that on one leg in the playoffs once). He’s a guy I think you have to dig past the stats a bit to determine in a given season if he is Hart/Smythe level or simply a superstar who is offensively undeniable. I don’t feel his overall playoff resume this year rose to that level.
