Buffalo deserves nothing, but also, they've never moved up in the lottery (only maintained the last place spot they had, twice)

Phi, Min, Pitt, Det, STL can't get the #1 pick. Only Phi has a shot at #2.

Pitt would still have the option to give the pick to SJ if they move up in the lottery. Pitt could move up to like 4/5, so would have to decide to give this pick or an unprotected pick in 2025.

Sharks won't get first, we never had and can't have nice things

Me looking at this a lifelong Flames fan, having endured Jumbo and the gang mud hole stomp my below-average team for over a decade.
Kind of hard getting first overalls when your team was essentially a 100+ point team from 2003 to 2019.

Could Calgary at least get a top 2 pick? The highest we've ever picked is 4; and we've endured some absolute dog shit clubs in my time.

Prepare yourselves for the inevitable.

Hawks, baby.

No really, there's a conspiracy theory that could be levied for any team winning, but if the Hawks don't win the whackjobs that'll go crazy if Utah wins would be a solid second-best option.
