Kraken take it, what a day for the tank
WE'RE STILL #4 !!!! WE'RE STILL #4 !!!! WE'RE STILL #4 !!!! WE'RE STILL #4 !!!!

1 - San Jose ( 51 points ) 3 games left- at Calgary, at Vancouver and Edmonton
2 - Chicago ( 57 points ) 2 games left - at Montreal and at Ottawa
3 - Nashville ( 66 points ) 2 games left - Utah and Dallas
4 - Boston ( 73 points ) 2 games left - at Pittsburgh and New Jersey
5 - Philadelphia ( 75 points ) 3 games left - at Ottawa, Columbus and at Buffalo
6 - Seattle ( 76 points ) 1 game left - LA
7 - Buffalo ( 77 points ) 3 games left - at TB, Toronto and Philadelphia

It is between us and Philly, we cannot be tied with them in pts as we would have more regulation wins.

We need to win the last 2 games to pass Seattle, and they need to lose in regulation Tuesday.

No one else is in range. Buffalo is out of reach, they have more RWs.

It looks like 4th or 5th. Worst case is 6th or 7th being bumped by the lottery.

Bruins lose in regulation today and Flyers get 1 point I believe the tank is complete 4 OA till lottery draw May 7 with 1-6 OA best to worst

I’m going Tuesday so I can go back to rooting for a win

A thirty day tank with a couple of demonstrative wins against playoff teams just to keep me happy

They need a center. Desnoyers, Hagens and Frondell all seem perfectly cromulent picks in that 4-6 pick range. If they get lucky, Misa seems like an obvious pick. Otherwise, as long as Sweeney doesn't have a another galaxy brain draft moment this should be hard to mess up.

Correct, 4th place can be ours today. Pens win in regulation and the Philly game goes to OT.

The debate on who to take with ramp up

Yes, any of them would embiggen the Bruins long term ability to throw out two top six lines.

I believe

Assuming we finish fourth, the only way to look at it is we get the sixth pick. Anything above that is us moving up. It’s the way the probabilities steer it.
,
And finishing sixth is fantastic.

San Jose stays at first 25.5% of the time. 35.1% of the time after that, one of the 2-4 teams gets #2.

So lots of ways we draft 4-5 (and 2 obviously).

So you could actually say that 35% of the time, we're either drafting first, or 2-4-5th worst case
