unfortunate end with the b's comeback tuesday and the flyers losing 2 straight.

but 5th worst pre-lottery is pretty damn good. on february 1, this team was 16th best
in the entire league. we'll see how the balls fall, but 5th pick would be great. and 2nd
pick would be even better :D

tank thread was fun, better than watching this poop roster without anything to root for.

You know your 90% is just pink dream of princess
The reality is 58% chance of 6-7th
25% stay 5th
And 17% 1-2

San Jose and Chicago would both take Schaefer. The other likely takes Misa. I can see Nashville or Seattle wanting Martone. Philly wants a center so that's a potential issue. So unless the lottery is won by an outlier I think it'll still be a choice of Desnoyers, Frondell and Hagens. If we end up 7th and Hagens falls due to his size (as some suggest might happen) then I doubt Sweeney passes on him but if we are 5th could be any of those 3. I still want Desnoyers, I think he will be the best of those 3 but any of those 3 will be fine I think.

They almost pulled it off

As long as the 7th guy is OBrien filling a definite need both positionally and skillset I’m good

4 would have been great factoring in guarantees the consensus top 6

My April Red Line came today and they did overrated and underrated by CHL three leagues and McQueen was listed as overrated - as was Ethan Bear

Somehow this will all work out well I wanted 6 the day they blew it up but human greed I moved the goal posts to 4, but 5 is very good as long as we keep it

Sucks waiting but hopefully good things come to those who wait

First two picks are set I think. Nashville is a wildcard, but I say they go Hagens with the possibility of Frondell, who reminds me of Filip Foresberg vey much. As I said earlier, Philly seems to be going for Desnoyers just like the Bruins.

I agree that it will come down to Frondell or Hagens-whoever NSH does not take. If we get kicked to six, which is likely, then Matrone, who I do not want.

Great thread. And thank you, nugs, for putting all the time organizing and managing it. My only source of updates on the lottery possibilities.

The Bruins will not know where exactly they will pick in the NHL Draft until the NHL Draft Lottery is held, with a date yet to be announced. With the fifth-best odds, Boston has the ability to move all the way up to No. 1, and could fall down to No. 7.

According to Tankathon, here are the odds that the Bruins have at landing several picks entering the draft.

1st overall: 8.5 percent
2nd overall: 8.6 percent
3rd overall: 0.3 percent
4th overall: 0 percent
5th overall: 24.5 percent
6th overall: 44.0 percent
7th overall: 14.2 percent
