Is there a chance we stay at 5th? I dont understand this lottery business.

If we’re at 5 and Hagens and Frondell are gone, Desnoyers is my guy.

Unfortunately I don’t know if he’s the 1C answer we need, points wise. I love everything else about the player.

Like you guys are saying, Martone going in the top 4 is a big X factor in getting another chance at Hagens or Frondell. I know I’ve been throwing shade at the guy all day but I’ve heard plenty of times Radim Mrtka could really surprise people on where he goes.

Hopefully we don't end up feeling like we do as Patriots fans, by getting that meaningless point tonight. I know how bad winning that Bills game sucked. Now we have another Buffalo team ready to move us down the draft order with a win against the Flyers. Then again who knows.....maybe we get stuck at 5 but that slot wins the draft lotttery. Would suck if the 4th slot wins the lottery, but we dropped to 5 though lol.

Of Hagens, Frondell and Desnoyers, I like Hagens the least.

That said, I'm trying not to get locked into any one player (other than Misa). I've done some research and watched video but I haven't seen any of them enough to say with certainly that A will be better than B.

I don’t even think you would be able to say that if you watched a whole season. Things change all the time.

I just think Hagens play style would mesh perfectly with Geekie and Pasta and that’s what I would take to the bank. My hunch that Hagens had a “down year” per se is entirely a hunch and nothing more. I think his numbers have the potential to be way better next season with essentially all of the offense filtering through him at BC next season.

Hopefully hagens or martone slips.

It wasn’t a down year. He was a year younger than most others he is compared to points wise in the NCAA. Hes not Celebrini, but no one is in this draft.

I am fine (actually super stoked where we were in January) with a top 6 pick. I think all of them are sure fire NHLers. They might not hit their potential, but I don't see any cup-o-coffee type players. Tier 3 is nerve wracking. I can see Eklund, O'Brien and Mrkta making it, but they have high bust potential.

Just stay in the top six please! Come on lottery balls...
