NHL Draft lottery III -May 5th- Bruins locked into 5th before ping pong balls.

Saw this tidbit on Facebook just now. A reminder of how the draft can go, one way or the other:
Also interesting to look at the rest of the 1979 draft class. Pretty good pickin’. Glad we didn’t end up with Brown.

I had a dream we won the draft lottery. Last time I had a dream we won the draft lottery was 2005 where we didn't win the draft lottery and ended up with Matt Lashoff, so...
For a team with such a great track record of 2nd and 3rd rounders, god we f***ing blow in the 1st round.

Hopefully between number 1-6 we will walk away with at least a potential 1st line center (Misa, Frondell, Hagens) or a 2nd line center (Desnoyers, OBrien). If we get 7, hopefully someone above us takes Martone.

If bruins get Schaefer, misa or hagens we should all learn how to do back flips just to celebrate.

NFl draft is over so I shifted back over to NHL. Did my Lottery SIMs this morning and Bruins got 1 and 2 back to back. Is it May 5th yet?

Two kids that I am following in the U18 tourney that are impressing me that I would love us to draft are Ben Kindall and LJ Mooney.
Both should be around in round 2 may fall to early round 3.

I feel like Mooney will fall pretty significantly due to size concerns. Not sure this management group is ever going to take a player that small, but there's no question he's talented.

With Kindel, everything I've seen is mid or late 1st, so seems unlikely he'd fall into the 50s to use one of their 2nds on. Not sure how high up they could realistically move with both of their 2nds. Everything I've read is that people aren't high on the 2nd round talent this year.

I don't know where you been looking but all my pre-draft rankings has Kindel ranked from #18 to #25
As with Mooney he should be there at 51/55 maybe even at #69
