Speaking of booze, what is everyone's weapon of choice going to be tomorrow?

No booze, but a different substance instead ;)

Any chance of going up from 22 or not so much

.
Depends if a certain player falls. The Rangers don’t have a second but they do have 4 3Rds over the next two drafts. Just moving up 6 spots brings us to 16 which historically has been a good sport for bigtime players who have fallen

Potentially. They have definitely talked to Edmonton, Chicago and Montreal. Calgary remains a potential option as a result of other conversations.
Cool. Yeah if they could get up that would be nice, but not heartbroken if they can’t. I don’t think there is going to be a ton of difference between like the 16th pick and the 22nd pick for example. 14 would be a nice spot but after last year not getting my hopes up that Holland wants to them us out.

I think I heard he sustained 3 concussions in 10 months. With all we have learned about how they affect the brain (and they have affected me personally), while he probably says he feels incredible because he is young and 18, the scars remain and he is starting his Pro career behind the 8 ball. For the Rangers its a huge risk that you could potentially completely be losing an asset that was a 22 OA pick.

Was actually 2 concussions and a spinal injury that kept causing the concussions. He still skates with his head down and one more concussion could be it for him in his career, but since the recovery of the spine injury, he has been insane.

Guhle I keep hearing "is not good at hockey." He seems like a project who has size and speed but is a big time projection.

I think I'd stay away.

My read--Guhle would be fine. Keeping in mind that he has to put the elements of his game together. But I'd say the same about Grans and Wallinder. They're all big, athletic guys, very good skaters too---Guhle having the meanest streak. If there's a d-man I stay away from is Jeremie Poirier.

I dont know the story but if was 1 ONE concussion it shouldn't be a problem. If it was 3... not good

The Lapierre camp say it's one concussion and the other issue is spinal. I don't know about you but I'm not very comfortable with spinal either.

OTOH it seems he's gotten a bit bigger and stronger over the layover and he's shooting the puck better. He's already scored more goals this year than he did last year. That was my other concern with him.

Guys and gals!!

Just want to say a big thank you to you all for another year of Rangers draft talk. This thread is the best one on HF to have civil debates and keep negativity away, while also talking about up-and-coming prospects that could help the Rangers out in the long run!!

Here's to an excitingly stressful night!! Cheers, everyone!!

I mean it’s not hard when you have three picks for it to look good.

as if our lottery wins were skill? Guess what makes the Rangers look good?

Com’on, give them notice. They’re adding on three #1’s to recent lottery wins.
