There's no reason to believe that outside of your own fears. He's still a top 10 center in the league, arguably top 5.

I wouldn't actively pursue him given our situation but if you're getting him for that package, you do it every single time.

Lots of candidates to fill that 4 & 5 slot. Ottawa may be a good place for a Drysdale. Perfetti may well be an Yzerman pick, but so can Holtz or even Sanderson.

Hes overrated inside of the top 10 but it would be stupid for him to fall that far.

Agreed Jersey has done a bad job despite winning the lottery twice . They really need to have string draft with 3 picks in the top 20

The kid is a top 10 talent in this draft. He’s off to a fantastic start already. You’re just about guaranteed a successful draft before you even make the pick at 22. You have ehat’s Pretty much considered the deepest system in the league. You selected #2 last year. If you can’t take the risk under these circumstances, when do you?
