No it’s not but it almost always gets that type of reaction. The unwritten rules of hockey matter to the players, as they should. When you try to be disrespectful you deserve a few face punches imho.

Did not a single one of this teammates even try and step in? I'm not surprised there weren't any willing combinates but not even someone that would try and shield Clifford away from Duzak once he went into full turtle. I think the 2 refs/linesmen were the only ones to intervene.
