Extremely well deserved
4th line energy guy. He can skate and hit and fight and rip a nasty wrister occasionally. Not really any appreciable puck skill or playmakingQuick, someone who pays more attention to GR than I do tell me how to feel about this.
Pretty sure Compher and Tarasenko are out.Is this for Ras? Is Ras out?
First he needs to start in net while running the penalty kill.13 posts and no one has called for him to be on the #1 line with Larkin and Raymond.
You're slippin' folks.
This screams.... Kane, Tarasenko, Compher, Rasmussen, and Motte are all hurt and we're unsure which will be available to play tonight. This screams.... future moving in-coming soon.
Veleno/Motte/Fischer/Rasmussen on the chopping blocks?
I'm happy for him personally; awesome to work and get/go that far even late, as a though fan. *Fart noise* But... again for him personally this has to be awesome, and I feel happy for him. He's 31, somtimes(most of the time) these are the last years of players "good" hockey. Awesome to ride out a millionaire and a really good story, especially if he exceeds expectations.
Maybe... best paying cup of coffee he'll ever get.(1.5years salary). This screams.... Kane, Tarasenko, Compher, Rasmussen, and Motte are all hurt and we're unsure which will be available to play tonight.

They say he has earned it.Maybe... best paying cup of coffee he'll ever get.(1.5years salary).
Either way, I think this is a good move for Grand Rapids. I know historically this team slow plays it's prospects but now between Kasper, Shine and Soderblom there should be a clear message to the kids that your play will earn you opportunities.
Well, considering Shine is 31 he was slow played quite a bit
