Montreal is still in a good spot. It’s not likely they don’t get a single point out at home against a depleted Carolina team focused on avoiding injury AND Columbus wins in regulation.

I’d definately be nervous if I was Habs fan though. They’ll still likely get it done.

If they don’t though that’s gotta be one for the history books, right? They were up by like 8 points last week.

My guess is that they lose in regulation tonight to make things spicy going into tomorrow night, but then Columbus comes up short against the Islanders while needing a regulation win to get in over Montreal.

This opinion is based on absolutely nothing and my source is that I made it up.

Hard to say. I think playing some of the better teams who have nothing to play for is easier than playing than the bottom feeders.

Carolina only goal is to get through the game and not get injured.

Just depends on:
- Carolinas goalie
- Montreals goalie
- How tight and nervous Montreal plays. Could be gripping their sticks all night.

Montreal makes it, but I'm rooting for the Jackets (not because of Montreal, but because of what the Jackets have been through). It would be cool to see them make a little noise in the playoffs.

Habs are typically my #2 team and I would love to see them in the playoffs, but this year in particular I can't help but pull for Columbus. I felt similarly when Ottawa was in competition with CLB for one of the wild card spots.
