This is the 3rd installment of asking if young players will reach 60 points this year, after Carlsson and Guenther. Be interesting to see how things go. For Celebrini, missing those games reduces the poll question to 50 for the season.

Carlsson was 65 yes, to 45 no.
Guenther was 31 yes, to 9 no.
From last season: Raymond was 65 yes, 10 no. Although the poll was left open.

He has now played his 3rd game of the season. Against Minnesota he scored 2 goals, bringing him to 3g and 1a so far.

The votes are currently 10 yes, 10 no.

All of his points have come in two games. Against MIN (Fleury) and STL (Hofer).

Three other games he was blanked. Against CLS (Merzlikins), NJ (Allen), and PHI (Ersson).

He now has 3g and 1a in 5 total games.
This is a 55 point pace over his shortened season of a maximum 69 games.
Or 65 points over a full 82 games.

A healthy 17 shots on goal.
A plus/minus of +1.
One penalty.
Four hits, one block.
And 19:06 average time on ice.

Votes are currently 23 yes, 18 no. Poll closes in two days at 8:19PM. Last remaining game of influence is against NYR at 7:00PM of the same day. Shesterkin is expected to start, but possibly Quick.

Celebrini needs to rack in the points now. Teams are going to start getting better and better defensively to close out the season. He's projected to be at 56 points in 70 games now if he keeps this pace. But it will be a tough ask to keep that up.

No fault to him though, it's just that the sharks are horrendous and they might even sell some UFAs at the deadline if it makes sense. I can see Granlund getting traded since he is a UFA and 32 (33 at the deadline) at the end of the season. Granlund probably doesn't re-sign so I don't think keeping him for the season makes much sense.

So the Sharks are going to get worse when things get tougher. I could see Celebrini put up 50+ points if he were healthy though.

Had an excellent pass from behind the net to Barclay Goodrow, who missed. Shesterkin in net tonight. Celebrini making a lot of plays. Defensively responsible too, seems to have hockey intelligence. Final count is 34 yes, to 20 no.

november thread. It's an easy vote at this point. Joe Thornton is having fun teaching Celibrini in his own home. He's in good hands. That's good for San Jose fans. They have a good chemistry. Take it from a habs fans who sees Lecavalier with Slaf. It's not the Lemieux to our Crosby.
