Does Darius Kasparaitis belong in the Hall of Very Good?

He’s being slightly underrated in this thread. Huge POS, but also a pretty effective defender that you would much rather play with than against.

But no, not HOVG. He’s more like a Tom Wilson tier player who doesn’t qualify for any special recognition, but was nevertheless a notable player of the era.

Absolutely not.

I mean, if you ask me point blank to name a piece of shit D-Men active in the 90ies who fits the label "Hall of Very Good", the first player I'm thinking of is Gary Suter, and there's an absolute canyon between Kasparaitis and Suter.

Great player to have, but on the 2nd pair, and ideally not the best D-Men on that pair either.
