Still, this year is supposed to be very deep, like 40-50 deep so you can get a good player even at the end of the 1st round. Next year's draft isn't supposed to be as good, we will probably be drafting late again, and it's a year later. We already gave up a first in this draft and potentially giving up another this year is not good asset management.

Question is if Chicago is willing to add that condition, then again they pretty much lost all their leverage.
