All right, let's give this one a proper thread instead of all the multiple wildly named threads.
I liked the new Doctor. It's nice they're going a little more upbeat/fun after Capaldi's relatively serious version. I'm a little unsure if they're going to be able to properly handle having 3 companions at once without sacrificing the ability to really build them up and connect to them. Also I did think that the little speech she gave on the crane about new and different things was kind of ham-fisted and on the nose.
But overall a good start.
I did laugh at the end with the "coming soon" look at all the guest stars and I knew exactly two of them
My episode cut off just before the credits began to roll so I didn't see athe promo for the next episdoe nor the Coming Soon bit but I watched both at Youtube. I recognized Mark Addy, Alan Cumming(yay, no longer censored!), Art Malik and Chris Noth.
Good point. Less is more due to better characterization.... I'm a little unsure if they're going to be able to properly handle having 3 companions at once without sacrificing the ability to really build them up and connect to them. ...

It was ok. The cop should be the companion. I'll give it one more episode.
Too many companion

A direct confirmation that we have another missing doctor

This first doctor had a daughter originally to start. I assumed that's what she was talking about. I don't see at all how that was confirmation of a "missing" doctor.
Granddaughter, actually. Susan. This first doctor had a daughter originally to start. I assumed that's what she was talking about. I don't see at all how that was confirmation of a "missing" doctor.
I thought the third episode was the best so far. Seemed more traditional Doctor Who in some ways. I do think Jodie Whittaker is better than the material she’s being given. Too much companions, not enough Doctor.
