And people still complain about him. As long as he is in his 3rd-4th line chair he will perform great. Offensive player driving play? Heck no. Annoying 3rd liner to play against? Heck yes.Armia is +9 in his last 5 games, it's crazy.
Getting the call to the 4 nations cup really awakened something in him, he's been a different player since.
Well I guess that’s that for Primeau’s Habs career
Yah they should have won that gameToo bad they lost vs Columbus before x-mas…. They would be at .500
Feels better when you see that Boston, who are on a little hot streak, got completely manhandled by them yesterday. Werenski, Marchenko and their little russian legion is no joke.Too bad they lost vs Columbus before x-mas…. They would be at .500
Didn't stop Habs fans, especially after that 1st shutout5'11 undrafted goalie...
They have a good group + Monahan who is having an impressive season too.Feels better when you see that Boston, who are on a little hot streak, got completely manhandled by them yesterday. Werenski, Marchenko and their little russian legion is no joke.

Genuinely can't think of anyone who played poorly today and I'm a certified hater. I guess 2nd line (most notably Laine) in the defensive zone wasn't great. Dobes was excellent. Very confident and calm, night and day compared to Primeau. Aside from his goals, Dach was so much more engaged and was attacking the net.Couldn't watch the game as I'm playing dnd with buddies, how was Dobes overall? What about Dach? Actually who was good, who was bad, etc.?
Xhekaj plays 16 hard minutes and fights a guy who played 7 minutes. X is more valuable playing tough hockey and not fighting 4th line useless slugs.
well 2pts in the bagThey just lost to bloody Columbus. They aren’t getting 4-6 points against the teams they’re facing on this trip. And since when are goalies ready after a year and a bit? Mark my words, this will do nothing. Everyone thinks guys “deserve” a look. Roy, Mailloux, now Dobes.

Oh me too lolCarrier with 19:39 ice time, 4 hits, +1, 1 blocked shot, zero give aways...talk about transforming the D rapidly...
I was one of them
He was part of the problem . He seems to finally have understood. But the arrival of Laine and Carrier in the line up is helping a lot too.Being .500 with all the adversity and weak ass team makeup that MSL has had to deal with this year as a coach, speaks well for him. I think he's been vastly unfairly criticized.
